Luis Guzman

Luis Guzman is an Artist from Guanajuato, Mexico that is was living in the USA from 2001 to 2015, he started painting since he was a kid.

My influences are first and foremost everything I see, feel and experience, but I’ve always loved the nature, like butterfly, trees, flowers, the moon, I particularly like red and black colors,
At school, the only class I really paid any attention in was art. I simply wasn’t interested in anything else and I think my obsession with depicting the monotony of the work place and work force started there…
I love abstract because I can express my feelings better but “Of all the arts, abstract painting is the most difficult. It demands that you know how to draw well, that you have a heightened sensitivity for composition and for colours, and that you be a true poet. This last is essential.”
I was also working in California flipping houses for the last four years that I was there. And I moved back to Mexico on 2015, Then I visited Puerto Vallarta for the first time and I been enchanted by this amazing paradise since then that I decided to move here , now I’m very excited because my dream is always been to live by the ocean.
